anyone have a Salary Continuation plan?

What about sick days? Do you get those? If so, I'd use them over vacation.

In CA, the short-term disability doesn't kick in until you've been out 7 days. So I ended up only getting it for a few days and it was a pain. If I had to do it over again, I'd just take sick days for the whole time and not worry about it. I think the STD only saved me 2 sick days.

We have PTO vs. sick and vacation time...  I think our short term is in 3 days???  Can't remember back to 2006 right now.  All I remember is no interruption in pay and that was a good thing!

I wish we did too. (Have PTO)
