What is considered an actual stall?
I think I remember reading 2 weeks. But also remember that you have a lot of stress right now, and that is going to affect your weight loss, too. Try not to be so concerned with the numbers right now. It will come. Be good to yourself.
You could try measuring yourself as some have said that the scale didn't move but they continued to lose inches.
(I saw your post on FB; I felt weird saying anything there, but know I've been thinking of you.) *hugs*

I always figured I'd be a slow loser, but it seems to be pretty slow... Like hardly much the last two weeks. :( I know it works, I just have to trust the process.
Awww, thanks for thinking of me! You can post on my wall anytime :) I am under a ton of stress, and have to keep reminding myself that 4wks ago I would have numbed myself with food! It also doesn't help that I'm in the middle of nursing school so really can't afford other distractions as it is... i have to remind myself to 'keep on swimming' lol

Don't worry! Like you said, you just gotta trust the process. :) It'll happen. The other thing is that, being a LW, we don't have a much to lose, and we all know that the closer you are to goal, the slower you're gonna lose, so that could play into it as well. You only have about 50lbs left!! That's exciting! :)
Girl, I am right there with you. I'm in graduate school and am taking my master's exams in the spring. I don't know what I was thinking, but we will both get through it. Focus on the things that are important--family, your studies, and let your body do its thing. You don't need the additional stress of worrying about what it's doing with your weight. :)
(P.S. I applied to nursing school the same time I applied to my current program--got an interview, but didn't get accepted due to the incredible glut of applicants. I am still thinking of nursing school or PA school when I am done with this degree since there are not many jobs for Spanish linguistics professors!

Hey April, I think we are all different in what we consider to be a stall. In the beginning my weightloss was all over the place! Eventually it evened out and I was able to start noticing a pattern to my WL. It was normal for me to lose for a week and then taper off over a couple of days and then stay the same for 2-3 weeks........it was what I call my "weightloss cycle" we all have one I just don't think many people stay off the scale long enough to visualize the pattern.
I would weigh myself once a week unless I was losing.....if I was at the losing phase in my cycle I would weigh daily until the weightloss stopped. Once I had 2 days in a row at the same weight I would wait a week and weigh again....So in my mind I NEVER STALLED.........LOL
