Yummers protein discovery
So, protein is awesome, but I like to eat, not drink. Nonetheless, I know whey protein is important. I made some protein gelatin and I love it! Ingredients:
1.5 scoops chocolate designer whey
About 2c unsweetened almond milk (only 35 calories, very low carb, but could split with water)
A little splenda
2 tbsp sugar free chocolate sauce
Unflavored gelatin
Dash of almond extract
Put half the liquid in a bowl and sprinkle with a packet of gelatin. Leave at least one minute. Heat rest of liquid separate, adding splenda, chocolate. Remove from heat. Add protein power and blend in a single serve blender. Add to gelatin, mixing well, add almond extract. Cover and refrigerate 3-4 hours. Then eat a lot and feel like you've indulged! The whole bowl has about 250
calories. I've been dividing it into two servings during the day. It's getting me easily through cravings!

Sounds awesome! How hot do you heat the rest of the liquid? Keep it under 130 degrees?
