Newbies and EVERYONE Else... Don't let the carb monster creep back into your menus!!!   It only takes a cracker here and there to get you hooked again.  During the honeymoon period you can eat those things and still lose weight because our bodies don't absorb all of those extra calories and fats but that also gives us the "false" idea of "I can eat these things and still lose weight" which WILL eventually catch up with us because we are letting bad habits continue to take hold of us.  As you get further out that 1 one cracker, 1/2 bagel, 2 chips, bite of bread, turns into full servings and then we are back to eating like we used to.  Don't even take the first bite!!!!!

Hello to all of my Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!

Writing everything down has helped me so much!!! I would really like to see some more posters.  Seeing what is working for others helps the rest of us put some variety into our meals.

I missed Menus and Miles, but I have still planned my daily menus the whole time. Planning is the Key to Success!!!   I think that's why I eat so much Wendy's Chili....it's good "fast" food.

It is surprising how carbs go down so easy but they stick with us the longest...on our hips!! Mine have actually attached to an extra roll in the mid section...LOL

Hold off on the carbs as long as you can because it's just too hard to stop after you give in to them.  Looking at your menu, I think you are just mourning food in general.  The refried beans should help.  I used to eat a lot of ham and bean soup and I still eat a lot of chili to take the place of  "bad" carbs.
