Fitness Challenge - January 4

Good day LW

How is everyone doing? What's on the agenda today?? Me? I'm sticking with cardio only this week to get the body and brain nice and warmed up.

Post what you did or plan to do....keep movin LWs...

HI!!!! I've been gone, but you know I've been working my butt off!!! IDK if you read my other post, but I have once again re-vamped my routine. I was killing my hip with all the running, plus I don't have any more body fat to lose, sooo the new routine is 1 day a week long run (can't give it up completely), then the rest of the week strength training with weights, kettle bells (christmas present), and some new good DVDs I got. I'm waiting on a new kick-boxing DVD that I ordered to arrive, and we are pricing heavy bags to start regular boxing routines. 

I'm super sore, and it is very obvious which muscles I have worked by running, and which ones have been totally neglegted. I am seeing a difference already! 

(I can't afford the time or money for plastics right now, so I'm filling the skin out with muscle!)

Great idea, Shannon! I've thought the same thing. I just run and do the occassional weight workout. My arms a bit of a flabby mess. I am going to try to ramp up on the weights to to fill in that flab!

How cool is it that you can say that you don't have any body fat?  You're awesome!

Thanks Rosa! I know, it is totally weird. In early November I had my body fat checked and it was 13% at that time, which is very low for a woman. Right after that I upped the intensity of my workouts and have lost several inches and close to 20 pounds. I quit having periods a couple of months ago, so I'm quite sure the body fat is lower now. I'll get it checked again in February.

ive been slacking! i'm starting the c25k over today then 30ish minutes on weights!

I've been slacking too....lol 

Starting back over helps prevent those injuries...

Ahhh....it was too icy to run this morning. I'm working pretty much until 8:30 tonight....I'm kind of panicking. I hate this. I will try to get on the elliptical when I get home.

I would rather it be rainy and warmer!
