I promise to read all of your petitions, though I will not respond to them directly, just for the sake of letting them stand on their own.

For what shall we pray this week?

Please pray:

that my mom's asthma will clear up so that she can resume normal breathing. 

for the homeless and poor who suffer in cold 

for strength for me

Patience! No need to go into deatil but right now I need patience.

Adding my oldest Sister to the list.  As some of you may remember she was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer and was going thru chemo.  She had a ct scan and it showed a mass on her thyroid.  The did a needle biopsy but it couldnt determine if the cells were cancerous or not.  So she is having surgery tomorrow to remove part of her thyroid to see if the cancer has spread.  Ive already lost my brother, Mom & Dad to cancer.  I cant lose another one to the dreaded disease.  Cindy

I'll be Praying for your sister.  My Mom just had a huge mass and had one of her thyroids removed but fortunately for her it was clear.   I lost my Dad to lung cancer years ago and it was a terrible thing. I can't even imagine what you must be going through.

i too lost my mom 42 and my dad 70 to cancer
actually everyone of my moms siblings had died to cancer and now my sister 42 is battling breast cancer
i wish with all my strength i was able to kick cancers ass once and for all !!!!!

Our family history is very similar.  Cancer has been the top killer on both my parents families.  Will say a prayer for your sister also.  Cindy

ist i would like to say that
"miracles happen at CHRISTmas time" and with all of ur prayers , my father in law moved his leg dec 23rd, and is now out of the nursing home wahoooo i know he will be walking again . also my best freinds mother who is 79 had cancer on her lung a few months ago she had cyberknife some kind of intense treatment and now she went back for a pet scan and the mass is gone and yet another miracle prayers do work

i pray for all the homeless now that the weather is going to become frigid. and for my dh to find a job hes very very down
