OT hysterectomy & bladder problems

I got a card from the Dr's office that I called and "activated" and it gives me $25 off my copay.  My copay is now $40 this year for brand name drugs, so that helps me immensely.  I can only get 1 month at a time, so that would be $120 for 3 months for me. 

Actually the nurse told me to cut them in half - I'm not sure if she was aware of the time-release issue or not - I didn't even think about asking about that.  Also with being RNY'ed it affects us differently too..

I'm glad its working for me cut in half.  I couldn't stand the side effects of the dry nose, eyes, etc - they're still there but not nearly as bad with only a half a pill.

I printed a card off the website for a free 30 day supply.  I will have to get my doctor to send me a prescription for the 30's if we decide to try Toviaz.  Is your leak a small leak or a larger one like mine?

I had to have a sling put under my bladder (surgery of some sort) and that help completly!

Hi Ruby ~ I had bladder sling and it has worked wonderful. It is nice to be free from the leakage. I understand your concerns and you should do what you feel comfortable with. Each option has some sort of disadvantage (do nothing...or surgery...or RX)...but I think you should be speaking with a urologist. Get as many opinions as possible. You are your own advocate and know your body. 

You should not have to compromise.
