Been MIA....Reintroducing myself!
Hi all: It’s been a long time and there are a ton of new faces on the board so I thought I would re introduce myself. I am 10 mo out of RNY and am fighting for the last 18 lbs to come off to meet my goal by my 1 year post-op appointment. This last month of “the Holiday’s" have been the toughest as I saw some old habits creeping back, i.e snacking & carbs! I am hoping to fight that demon in the new year with the 5 day pouch test to cleanse my body.
So far I have been fortunate and lucky that my biggest problem is only constipation and man, I never knew that gas pains could be so bad. Unfortunately I have cut WAY back on the iron, increased my colace and miralax and it seems to help but there are still days I want to curl up in the ball and tune the world out! I am hoping my 1 yr labs that I have to get drawn next month will be okay enough to stick to the decreased iron.
Outside of that I am living life and loving it. I LOVE shopping for new clothes and especially love the bargains I can now find. People still pay me tons of compliments and I would do this all over again. No regrets!
I love going to the gym as it has become therapeutic for me. I take spin class 2 x a week and will start zumba in the new year. I could have never done these things 80 plus pounds ago. I hope to start running soon too!
I requested to be added to the FB group and hope to chat with you all more often as I get on there more so then here. Wishing you all a Happy 2011!

Cutting out all of your "bad" carbs and then Increasing your calories through protein for about a week and then cutting them back again might get you losing again so you can get those last pounds off.
That's Awesome that you love going to the gym!!!
You have a wonderful holiday and 2011 also!!
