Just wondering......
Is it just me or does weight loss and pregnancy make your nose bigger??
I feel like I have a nose that is toooooo big for my face!

OMG, Heather! You crack me up! My nose got pudgy right along with the rest of me when I got fat and now I'm looking forward to it slimming down. But my problem is that I'm reaching an age when my nose will start getting bigger, right along with my ears. LOVELY
My 21-yr-old daughter was sitting across from me at breakfast yesterday and all of the sudden she said ....
"Mommy, you are so little! Where did you go? You look so frail and small!"
I knew that wasn't a compliment about my weight loss.... so I asked...
"Does that mean I look like a little old lady now?!" To which she replied....
"No!!! You look like, ya know... a smallish frail middle age 52 year old lady!"
GREAT. THANK YOU VERY MUCH.
Sorry for the tangent.. HEATHER...YOUR NOSE IS JUST FINE!
I love it! Kids are awesome! I think you look great and you don't look frail at all!

It's been months since I looked at your before photos and I just took a peek to see what the heck you were talking about with your nose... Okay, first of all let me just say, OH...MY...GOD! Holy Beegeebees. Where did you put the old Heather and look at you now! You are just a sliver of your old self. You were adorable before, but you are totally transformed now. It's like the darling young girl inside came out! You are so bubbly and confident and filled with spit and vinegar and sunshine now!
Now, about your nose... you still have an adorable little nose! I think, unlike a lot of us, your nose did not stay in sync with the rest of you when you gained weight. It appears from the photos like your nose did not get pudgy and round, but stayed little and petite. So now the rest of your facial features have slimmed down to coordinate perfectly with your cute nose. I think your nose is a perfect match for your other features.
We are our own harshest critics. I know I hate my own nose - especially my right profile. And look at Barbara Streisand.... she won't be interviewed unless her host turns the set completely around so that it shows her best nose angle. And I don't even need to give the obvious example of the poor nose perception of Michael Jackson, poor thing.
I was just browsing the Internet for short haircut photos and I think I've just discovered that having short hair takes away the frame around the face that balances out our features and makes everything blend together nicely. Whereas short hair makes all the facial features stand out more. Take a look the pictures on this website. If you look at these celebs, they all appear to have bigger noses with their shorty short haircuts...(except for the celebs with perfectly chiseled noses). No wonder I hated my own short haircut in the early 80's! So illuminating! But having said all this... I do love your new short haircut!
