I had a session with a trainer this morning on weights. I go back tonight at 5:30 PM for a pilates class. I'm off work this week, so I thought that I would work on increasing my exercise.

I started the c25k today...i've already been jogging as it is so im going to do the program 6 times a week instead of 3 and just use that as my daily workout! Day 1 was really easy for me...hardly broke a sweat!

Nice, Rebecca!  Keep us posted on how that goes for you - I wonder if you could already do a 5 k anyway?

I love the C25K!!! Enjoy the process and stay on program even if you think you can do more..helps prevent injuries...it picks up quick too...

Ahhh.  Me and my so-called "strong legs" are shaking in our boots (literally!) today.  My workout with the trainer yesterday kicked in hard-core today, and all I can say is:  OUCH!

It's just the weakness leaving my body.  It's just the weakness leaving my body.  Repeat.

That being said, I went ahead and gave myself a full ballet class at the gym today.  I just commandeered one of their beautiful studios and went to work!  It was great to get those movements in - a few days off can do a number on my flexibility and strength.

So that was my exercise.  I felt good about it.  Now I just have to figure out how to walk home from the subway once I leave work...

Aahhhh, I miss that post-workout soreness. I know once I get back into it I'm going to be in a world of hurt from disuse, but the more you do it, the less it hurts! :)

Well twinkle toes...sounds like the trainer gave you a great workout if you are feeling it today! AND I do love your little mantra...I'm with Valley I'm gonna have to steal it too...lol 

That is so awesome that you commandeered a studio! You go girl.
