There must be something so free-ing about losing weight and cutting off long hair that you once 'hid behind.' I know I could never cut my hair short unless I was 'petite' enough to carry it off.

Good for you!!!!! Hopefully one day i'll get the nerve to cut my super long hair too! :)

Thank you April!  It was heartwrenching to cut it off....I did do it in incriments tho which made it less traumatic......LOL  I'll be honest I've always loved long hair....and I always thought some of the cuts that WLS folks get are pathetic looking......I think getting your hair cut to make it look better shouldn't make it look worse.......LOL  I had been going to the same stylist for many years.....I loved him, however, I saw some of the cuts he was giving girls after the had WLS and I wasn't impressed...sad to say but he didn't have the knack for it.....either that or thier hair was just to bad to begin with......anyway.....I started looking elsewhere and  ended up having a YOUNG girl do my hair and it felt so young and fresh......this time I went to a girl whom I was friends with in highschool... She still looks young and fresh so I had no doubt she could come up with something.....I already knew what I wanted but didn't know how to articulate it.......apparently she knew me well.

You will be a Skinny B soon enough and want to try something new and fresh when the time comes......just take it slowly.....you don't want to Regret cutting it.....just take a couple inches off at a time......and when you're ready......you will know it!

I love your cut....I, too have cut my hair short and it is curly and very similar to yours.  I bookmarked your cut to take to my salon the next time I go.  The only difference is mine is dark red.  You look fabulous.....

I love that style on you! I actually think my hair could do that....I'm also scared of short (too many years with a double chin!). Maybe I'll take a risk!

Super cute!  I am just starting to lose hair.  I have always had a bob length or longer hair.  I really would like to have a cute short cut when my face is thin.   I just had 5 inches cut off to heopefully help with my loss.
