I had high liver enzynes before surgery/fatty liver. The liquid diet and meds brought it down though. It was fine by pre opt appointment. We will be praying for you. My surgery postponed though due to having a bad allergic reaction the weekend before surgery. It will be fine. I am sure. Sometimes it could be something you have eaten. I have a friend that got bad test results but when they redid them it was fine. Let's think positive until we have reason to think otherwise. Good luck and God Bless!
Nothing tastes as good as this feels!

Thank you...Mine have been high for 3 years and they have been watching it. I think it is just fatty liver and this surgery will reverse it. Just waiting to see for sure!

Jenny, the Lord is really testing you, isn't he?  I am so sorry you are facing yet another obstacle on your path toward WLS. Dr. Davis is a good surgeon and he is probably just being ulta cautious. The good ones usually are.  I feel encouraged by many of the posts above from other LW's who had similar problems.  I personally don't know anything about liver enzymes so I can't be of help in that way, but I just wanted you to know I'm thinking of you.
Here is a big HUG.

Thanks Kathy, I love your new profile pic by the way...so pretty!! Anyway, Dr. Davis is the best and I'm glad he is that way. I want to be around to raise my 2 boys and he knows that so he is being extra cautious. He thinks it is fatty liver but just making sure because mine were so high. If hepatitis is ruled out, they will go ahead with the surgery and just talk a biopsy while they are in there. I will keep you all updated! Thank you for the hug...

Sweeetie, I don't have any experience with liver diagnosis', just wanted you to know I will be praying for you. I know that when you have your surgery it will be the right time for you.. Take care and I will look for your post for updates.
