Silly questions 4 post-ops 1 year out or more...you know I am past due for a silly question! :)
Ok, so it's been a while since I popped a silly question out there...my questions are about
1. how you handle your drinking fluids before/after meals.
I have heard those a year out or more stay with 30 min after...some 45 min after...some 60 min. I know it depends on a lot but most of us have an internal hard core line drawn...like no less than 30 min...etc.
I usually drink straight up until I start eating. Then for the most part (unless it's small snacks) I wait 45 min minimum.
2. how much food do you consume @ each meal now...1/2 cup, 1 cup....??
I have been pushing more dense protein so the volume is around 1/2 cup. BUT salads...I seem like I can eat 2 cups...hehe...
What about you?? Just trying to gauge if I am on the right track or not and simply to compare notes...lol

I got lazy about it when I was in full-blown training and it was more important to get the water in and it was hard to eat enough calories anyway.

It depends on what it is. I can get up to 6 oz. of yogurt. But I'm still at 2.5-3 oz of meat plus a few bites of veggies. But I had a VSG.

2. It really depends on what I eat. Like you, salads I can eat a lot of. I had chicken salad last night and it is one of the things that if I get 1/2 cup down i'm doing really good. Some things I can eat up to 1 cup. Chicken is usually around 1/2 cup of 3 -4 ozs. Steak I can eat a little more if it is medium, if it is done - alot less...
I'm trying not to count calories right now and see what happens. I like the size I am now, but might want to go a little lower for some bounce back room. I do still weigh myself every day because that is my accountability and if I see it start to go up, I'll go back to tracking everything.

1. I drin****il I start fixing the meal so it could be 5min to an hour or so. I wait at least 30 min and often longer if I am still feeling pretty full.
2. I can eat 6 oz of yogurt but most things, I am in the 1/2-3/4c range. If it is really small, I can eat a whole piece of fish if I don't have anything else. Chili, 1/2c. Eggs, 1. I ate a small pork chop last night that was probably in the 2-3oz range.

its so funny when i set my table i set it for 2 cups instead of 3 and my fam keeps saying to me u forgot ur cup lolol i usually wait at least 30 min to start drinking again
as for food ,
i can eat 1/2 can of tuna and like 3-4 small crackers and im full
fish ,size of my palm
i can eat a whole veggie burger now 1st few months i can only get in 1/2 of that . we wont talk about slider foods lololol other wise a few tbs spoons/forks of veggies etc
i dont eat bread nor drink soda of any kind
