I Think I'm at goal? Maybe....**pic**
Melissa - you are both so beautiful! I'm jealous of your life. Can I come visit you & ride, too? ;)
Anyway, I agree with what everyone else has said. I think that you KNOW when you're *NOT at* goal. Probably the thing to do now is to set some non-weight goals, like strength or riding goals or something like that. Or lifestyle goals, habits that you intend to keep.
Shifting to that kind of goal-setting seems more maintenance-like to me. Does that make any sense?

You look absolutely wonderful. I certainly understand you being happy at this weight, anyone would be.
When I lost weight with WW in the 80's I got to goal, 123 for about a week, after gall bladder surgery. I couldn't stay there for love or money. I ended up around 135 and that was running 3-5 miles a day, 5-6 days a wee****il my hips gave out. Then I had to stop running and it all came back, and much more. I think there is a point where you and your body are happy. Staying there should be not impossible but will require some thought and work. If that is where you are, good for you. I set my goal at 140 based on that old history. If I get lower, great, if not, great. I don't want to live deprived and feeling like life is a diet. I didn't get surgery to do that.

I am 5'3" too and I can't imagine myself at 115. I am sure my bones weigh more then that. The last time I saw that weight I was in my 20s and anorexic. With my last WLS I got down to 120 for a little bit. I think I looked horrible but maybe my face would have filled out if I had managed to maintain for a few minutes. Honestly I don't care what I weigh. I just want to feel better.

You look wonderful! When does salvation army have half off days? Got to hit sometime. I have wondered and prayed when my body would know it was truly done. My doctor thought I was at goal at 123 this summer. So we went ahead and did the hernia repair then. Since then I have been hovering at 112. I wear a 4 or a 6. Small tops. I just had another hernia repair to correct it from where it came back this from this summer. Pray I am close enough to goal that it will not return. The doctor cornered my husband after surgery to get a full account of what I eat. He told him he thought I was too thin. I said to my husband what did you tell him. He said, "I told him you eat healthy and you are doing great." He told my hubby to push protein as much as he can. He said he would. I have not shopped e-bay but think I might try it.
