Best Christmas ever? This one! (pic)
Gina posted earlier asking for memories of our best Christmases. My best Christmas? This one! It was so nice to have all 3 of my kids home and together for Christmas. Even though they are all grown (even my 14-yr-old is 6' tall) being together is making them regress back to little kids, playing together like 3 little puppies in a litter... romping and tumbling and falling together in a heap. It warms my heart to see them still getting along so well - somehow growing even closer as they get older and live thousands of miles apart. So it is the simple things that I am grateful for this Christmas: My kids' good hearts and the love they have for each other.
Awww...what a great Christmas picture!

hey Peyton ;) I posted this pic and then got busy for a couple of days. Thank you for the compliment. It was so much fun watching my kids playing out in the snow. I hope they will always be close and will want to be with us during the holidays. I can't imagine a Christmas without them.
Happy new year!

It's great to have them all home. My daughter won't get here until the 4th but we haven't been lucky enough to have Christmas with her for a while. Enjoy the time you have with them. They aren't able to get home forever.

I posted this pic and then went off line for a day or so....
Price, you must be excited about your daughter come home! I really tried to savor every minute of this Christmas because I know that things change as the kids get older. My son already left to go be with his girlfriend and her family in Michigan for New Year's. :( And my daughter flew out to CA to see her college team in the Rose Bowl and then she will go to her friend's place in Vail for the rest of her break. I'm trying to be unselfish and let them have these opportunities without trying to guilt them into staying home. Do you remember that old comic strip called MaMa? I'm shooting for the opposite of that! ;)
Enjoy your daughter!
