Still snowing still recovering.
Hernia surgery was Monday. It has snowed all day today. Kids played I watched from the window. Today I have kept a migraine all day. Not sure why but ready for it to go away. I have tried not to take the perkaset unless I had to but today I have hurt alot. Feels like the doctor stapled the mesh to my rib cage. Could the migraine be a side effect of the medicine? Anybody know?
Agree with Rosa. Make sure you're hydrating like a wild woman. After my hysti I thought they had done a number on me too around my rib cage but I think it was trapped gas left over from the laparoscopic process. It took a good 2 weeks to feel better and then there was an occasional flair up. Hang tough and rest and drink..or drink and rest...major surgery and all that.

Danielle - what kind of anesthesia did they give you for your surgery? If it was a spinal block, you could have a leak, which causes awful headaches, but you would have had them much earlier than this...
Like the others said - get hydrated and take the drugs if you need them - no need to live with the pain...
