Protein Donut Holes
1 large egg
1/4 cup melted butter
Sweetener to taste
1 tsp vanilla
1 scoop vanilla whey protein powder (1/3 cup)
Coconut oil
Topping:
sweetener and cinnamon
Heat about 1" of oil in a heavy skillet until it's hot enough for frying. While the oil heats, beat the egg lightly with the melted butter, then add the protein powder, and vanilla. Taste and add sweetener if you want it sweeter.
Whisk together until the lumps are pretty much broken up, then let it rest a minute or 2 and whisk a bit more.
Using a large table spoon or serving spoon, drop the batter by large tablespoonfuls into the hot oil in batches of 4. Fry until bottoms are golden brown, which will only take a few seconds, then flip. Drain on paper towels, then sprinkle with sweetener and cinnamon to taste. Serve hot.
Makes about 8 - 12 donut holes.

I have to do stocking stuffers too and grocery shopping. I am waiting on 2 fedex pkgs on 2 separate trucks to be delivered today...cutting it close?? eeehhh, maybe...lol
I am finally on day 5 of the 5 day pouch test and feeling good about it. Scale says 131.8 this morning but most of all, I don't have the cravings for carbs again. You are probably right about the movement of the scale...once I start back eating it'll move...Back to proteins and fruits/veggies, etc. Protein shakes and all the goodies. Back to BASICS!!!
Yesterday was a good day. I'll update my totals...today there is no plan but to stick with protein first. So, I'll fill in the staples and back track the rest later.
