Though my life sux in so MANY ways ...its SO much better than my BEST days BEFORE surgery
I am so VERY grateful ..to You my supportive , unconditionally loving wonderful online friends , and to the miraculous surgery which saved me from diabetes and depression and a horrible downward spiral of ill health, food addiction .misery and an early death .........
Wow ..to have been granted a reprieve from that jail sentence of being imprisoned in Ur own burgeoning , failing flesh !!
truly what a miracle ....
At first I HATED the protein shakes , I hated the dumping .. I hated not being able to overeat ..but now 19 months later I am so infinitely GRATEFUL for the radical intervention that my lifesaving surgery WAS .
I have HAD to come to terms with so many of the things that "made me eat " . BS ..I WANTED to overeat lol ..... but i have had to mature .
Im so grateful Im finally growing up ! And I tell U .. every day is Ava's excellent adventure ...... truly . The excess FOOD was keeping me from enjoying and LIVING my life ......

I just went to the grocery store to buy stuff for cooking for my family and this desperate looking woman excused herself to cut in front of me to grab a Dr. Pepper from the cooler. She looked absolutely frazzled, very overweight, and out of breath... I just wanted to grab her and say "Honey, life can be SO much better than this!" But, of course, I didn't. I am just truly grateful that I am no longer that woman and that my health is getting better every day.
So, whatever each of you are celebrating this time of year, be joyous and may blessings of every kind find their way to you!!
