10 month pics

I reached my 10 month mark from surgery last Friday.  I haven't posted pictures publicly but thought I would today.  I may just leave them up for a few days, then take them down.  I woke up this morning with a great sense of appreciation for how far I've come on this journey.  I decided to look at how full my glass is and quit comparing myself to others that have gotten to goal in a flash.  So my journey is different, but it's no less fantastic or rewarding.  Never having posted pictures, I'm going to see if I can actually do it.  :)

Before pic is taken December 2009.  I had already gone from 249 to around  235 in this picture.

I took this one this morning as I was getting ready for work.  Not bad for 60!

LeeLee!  You are looking wonderful!  I think it's so important to look back when we're feeling discouraged and remember where we were.  You have come SO FAR and your life is so transformed!  You are an inspiration to all of us, I know it.  Even without the pics.  But with them, we get to more fully affirm just how amazingly you've done.  And you have!!!

As for the help, sure:  here's before and after.  Someone else can probably paste the actual photos in for you - that I can't do, for some reason. 

I'm so grateful to have you as a sister in this journey.  Your ***** beauty, exuberance and drive all come through in that gorgeous shot.  I'm glad you could feel that this morning, and that we could affirm it tonight!

 Come here and let me smother you in hugs and more hugs.  Rosa, you've been such a blessing on this journey.  I really appreciate you so much!  

 Lee, you look fabulous. I know how beautiful you are in person, but the newest pic shows off your confidence. Keep remembering this is a lifetime journey. No prize for the fastest, only recognition of a new life, however long it takes to get there and the process is part of the fun.

 Thanks Wendy!  Hey, I met you the day i bought that black T-shirt!  I'm so glad I met you and that we got to sneak into the dressing room to talk WLS.    I know I'm going to get to exactly where I should be.  I guess I just don't get to decide when that's going to be.  For today, I'm ok with that.

 Diana, you're such a darling girl.  I really appreciate you and everything that you do to pay it forward around here.  I'm doing ok.  I'm looking forward to going back east on Christmas day.  I'll be staying with someone I've been close to for 36 years.  I love her and her DH and girls.  We raised our kids together.  We're going to take a road trip back to the farms where we raised our kids and to visit friends that we've known from the early 70's.

What an awesome Christmas planned!!!
