Oh MyLeeMyLove!  You have done such a very fine job and worked so hard for every single pound off!!

You are beautiful and have always been beautiful, and I can see some extra freedom and joy beaming out, not feeling like a prisoner in yourself, and being able to be more mobile in your body and your spirit with less pain!

*muwah*

I love your smile, I love your sweet heart, I love that all of your hard work for all of these years, and in all the years of gathering tools, you finally found the one tool that was your final leg up - so that the rest of the tools could be utilized to their fullest.

You are such a groovy human.  I am so proud on you!  I know you are proud on you too!

Dearest HoundMama,

You always know the perfect thing to say and what to remind me of.  Yup, all those years of sittin my butt in that OA seat at least once a week are where I started getting my toolbelt together.  This eating stuff is one wicked beast for those of us that spent our life trying to escape the things that were too painful to face full on in the mirror.  I wish I could eradicate those things that happen to little girls (or boys) that should never take place.  Yeah, we offer up too much food, but how many of those obese children are doing it to escape the hands of those that come after them.

I had really hoped that the struggle would end on surgery day, but that's not my story.  The years of tracking my food daily prepared me to continue but I think I still held out the hope that the weight would fall off.  Well it hasn't and I'm faced to learn more about self love and acceptance daily.  Truth is, I've always been good at showing it for others, so now it's my turn.  I guess I'm really a tough study and until forced, on the bathroom floor screaming, pounding my fists, I just don't learn my lessons.  That's ok, when I learn them the tough Polish marching into the pain way, they seem to have a greater impact on me.

So this Christmas morning, staring down a New Year, one where I look at myself in clothes and say, Not Bad Mamacita, I know that my life is so improved and enriched in so many ways.

Wishing you a Merry Christmas and the best in the New Year BigLoveMama.  I hope it's everything you've ever dreamed of.  Sending the biggest of hugs and kisses because you've given me so much from the day I started out around here.  :)
