Lee,
Your transformation has been amazing. Even in your "before" picture, your warmth, kindness, and vibrance shine through. In your "after" picture, these qualities are even more evident and a sassiness is present. Your tenacity, encouragement, and dedication have been inspirational me, and have helped to keep me motivated along this journey. Your pictures exude the wonderful, kind, and inspirational person that I have met in person. You will meet your goal!!!

Lee, you look fantastic! I love your whole style from your new haircut down to your stockinged toes! You look adorable and soooooooo much slimmer. You look like a different person from the before shots I have seen of you. You ARE a success story and please don't think otherwise. I have a feeling I might not get to my goal as quickly as others and it will be important for me to wake up each day and pat myself on the back for my own successes too, so I'm with you on that front! You look amazing and you ought to celebrate your accomplishments too. This is not a race and it's important that we don't compare ourselves to others.
I told someone about my surgery this past weekend---she had the surgery herself years ago, before i knew her---. As I told her I knew I was making a mistake. And sure enough she began to pepper me with questions about how much weight I had lost and how long it has taken me... etc.... And then she gave me a look that caused me to ask..."what? -- not enough?" And she made the most judgmental, chastising and invalidating expression I have ever been given and mumbled something I couldn't hear. I felt so deflated all day after that. By the way, that woman has regained the largest ass on the planet since her surgery, so I don't know who she thinks she is to judge! But my point is that you are a success, even if your body decided to stop losing at its current set point. And I'm going to let my body tell me when I've lost enough for me too. I'm in no rush to have a body like a twenty year old....or even a very skinny 40 year old. What is the point? You already look beautiful and really very thin at this weight. I say celebrate your success and new beauty.
