This Week's Swing List

(This week I'll just let each prayer request stand on its own.  But I promise to read and pray for everything and everyone submitted here.  I bet the readers would agree to the same.) 


For what shall we pray this week? 

I pray with deep gratitude for the amazing gifts I don't even know how to name nor how to enumerate.  

I am grateful for love and grace and blessings.  

I am in awe of the love made known through the Incarnation.  

I give thanks for my family - by bloodline and by association - and for the care I've received and learned through them.  

I pray for Kylie as she recovers (well) from her band surgery today.

I pray for people who will acutely notice loss as the places loved ones once filled, especially at the holidays, are empty.  

I pray for people who suffer from illness - physical, mental, anything - that they may know healing.  

I pray for justice and protection for the vulnerable.  

Swing 'em if you got 'em for:  our soldiers and their families and loved ones; our country's leaders that they will lead us out of conflict and into prosperity (and hurry, please and thank you); for the scientists working on cures and treatments; and for the care givers out there--be strong. Continued thoughts for Vitalady and Vitaguy and for Linda in NYC (Mt Sinai hospital).

For family who are blessed with health this season
For staff who all have teenagers in their homes, and the teenagers, may they not have to learn everything the hardest way.
For all our armed forces, here and abroad.
For the men and woment who work for us in government, may they find a way to work together in peace without consideration for special interest.
For my OH family, praise and thanks for all their love and support, help to each one to make it through the holiday being healthy.

Thank you for shining your light and doing what you do best Rosa. 

at this time for my father inlaw that he comes home from the nursing home soon and will begin to walk again

i pray for all the men and woman that are over seas that they come home in july 2011 like Obama planned

i pray for my 2 children that they have love , happiness , and health always.

i pray for much patience with my dh

I pray for our military and their families & friends and for safe returns for those coming back...safe deployments for those there and those just heading out. For those who hold down the fort here while others are there. Love peace and blessings!!

For all my OH family including those I haven't met yet for a blessed smooth journey from prep to present and their continued support and love.

For my DS1 who continues to struggle with adulthood and making poor choices. May he find peace in his unsettled heart and may his angels guide him.

For me to have wisdom and guidance in my trials...knowing when to reach out and ask for help.

And that we all have a safe and peaceful holiday!!
