I thank you so much for your input and support...and well, I made up my mind I am going to do the 5 dpt. I thought about it and I drink protein shakes to get the most of my protein in daily so I just decided that if I am going to scale back on carbs...It is no more effort to just do the liquids for 2 days. I need 100% reset here.
If you want to join in...please do...we can support each other...or if you are going to decarb...we can still support each other...let's make today the day instead of 'after the holidays'...
I spent my entire yo yo diet life setting a start date in the future. I woke up today and said eh, today is the day to start. So it is....

I have had a protein shake this morning (35g protein & 150 cal)
Cream of chicken soup (yummo...with a little hot sauce...) (5g & 175 cal)
Protein shake (35g & 150 cal)
I have to be very mindful NOT to drive through Starbucks and get a skinny latte...liquid yes, protein packed yes....but gots carbs...NO!!! hahaha

Okay, I will start tomorrow. After a day of picking at carrot cake frosting, I feel like I'm in a coma. I welcome the change!
So, if I start tomorrow, day 5 will be Christmas day, which may be really difficult. So, I'm gonna do a 4 day pouch test. I'll do days 1 - 4.....then see how I feel about Christmas day.
I totally need a sugar detox....I'm not eating mass quantities, but just picking, picking, picking.....making myself SICK!

Hey girl I know exactly what you mean. I am not a high volume eater (except salads for some weird reason) but I pick and pick and snack and snack and making myself sick too...
You'll be fine on day 5 being Christmas...its back to normal plan eating protein first! If you can do that much you'll be fine...Days 1-2 liquids Day 3 soft proteins (tuna, eggs, etc) Day 4 firmer lean protein (chicken, turkey, etc) and day 5 back to normal I think...solid proteins, etc.
You can also adjust it to they way you need it too...very flexible. I think I am doing great on liquids only today...much easier than preop was for 2 weeks....lol
