Fitness Challenge - December 20

Good morning LW's. 

I hope you all had a great weekend!! Christmas is almost here and soon we can relax...ok, not really but it sure is nice to think we can....lol 

I am going to call myself out and admit that I will be a slacker today. I am doing a 'restart' of my plan here and I want to focus completely on compliance with todays plan. I have decided to do the 5 day pouch test and today is day 1 for me. I am good at multitasking but I really want to focus only on day 1 today of full liquids. I think that exercise today may just throw me off a bit. 

But in order to keep myself busy and not 'thinking' about food...I will be shopping and cleaning and decorating the house more. So that will keep these hands busy while the pouch is distracted...lol 

What are your fitness plans today? 

PS - be ready folks...once I am fully charged and detoxed again...watchout!! I'll be jazzed up fired up and ready to hit the fitness routine hard...ahahaha....

Good Morning! Good luck with the liquids...that would suck. I'm having the opposite problem and need to up my calories or carbs or something. I keep losing and don't want to...never thought I would say something like that. I worked out pretty hard today:

75minutes on the treadmill (up and down speed and incline)
Usual floor routine (plank, push-ups, crunches)

Hey Shannon...actually I'm doing pretty darned good with the liquids. Enjoyed a nice creamed soup in a large mug! I am going to go shopping for more broths and soups to get me through tomorrow too...
Shopping is keeping me busy and the cold weather helps wanting those lovely soups. 

Sounds like a great workout! It's tough keeping that balance huh...I know you have struggled with not losing any more weight. I'm sure you'll find your balance soon. I bet you never thought to say you needed to up your weight. Hang in there...

I'm trying to cram in my ballet classes to the beginning of the week, since the studios will all be closed for Christmas later.  BUT THEN I learned in class this morning that my teacher's offering a class at 5 pm Christmas day!  If I can figure out how to shift my family plans around, I'm going!  

This class was a level up from what I have been doing.  I'd gotten used to being the best (or among the best) in class, but this time, there were actual ballerinas there, and other professional dancers.  I was fine at the barre, but then once we got out on the floor, she ran through combinations that they all knew and I didn't (because it was my first time there.)  It was fine; it's good for me to feel a challenge (though I wanted to cry at one point.)  It leaves lots of room for me to get better!!!

My knee is giving me some fits after yesterday's run, so no running or elliptical for me today. Tonight, I will go to my weights/core class. It is a good 1 hour workout.
