home again - feel good but TIRED!

Well, plastics were Thursday at 7:40 am, I was out of the OR by 1 pm and in my room by 3 pm.  Came home Friday at 4:30 pm, and slept in the recliner for 2 nights.  Today I managed a nap in bed, and am planning on sleeping there tonight.

We haven't measured the incisions, but when it's on you, it looks like a whole lot more than you imagined.  The weirdest one is the breast reduction - that took that scar from mid-back alongside my shoulder blade, down through the side boobs, curving under each boob, and then back around to the other side of my back.  But I won't have side boobage escaping, that's for sure!

I do have boobs again!  I'm sure a hunk of that is swelling, but I'm so glad to have them from whatever cause!  Waist is still pretty straight, but again, I know there's a lot of swelling going on there.  Some oozing, particularly on the shoulder blades and hip bones, but no where else.  No drains.

So far I'm even les hungry than before, but am eating regularly because I know I need to.  I can also tell that there's anesthesia still in my system, because not only do I fall asleep at the drop of a hat, things taste funny as well.

Now to hang on for the ride once again!

Congrats on the plastics!!  Im not at goal or where I want to be with my weight, but my Dr did send a refferal to the PS to get a consult.
What ever advice / pics you'd like to share would be wonderful!   I need a breast lift and a tummy tuck big time - Im 27 & boobs come down to about the belly button!!

I look funny swollen!  Anybody else rememberTim Conway's little old man shuffling around?  That's what I move like right now!  Doesn't hurt, it's just that the skin is too tight for me to straighten up!

Currently, my waist is 4 inches bigger than preop, so between bloat and swelling, I'm big again!

Oh, I'm so excited for you!!! 

I dream of getting it done but it's only a dream.  Self paying is definitely not an option.

I'm so glad you are home and doing good.  They sure didn't keep you very long.

Hope you have a very speedy recovery.  I would love to have some boobs again.

The boobs are nice... they're about the only thing I hope doesn't de-swell, although I know they will.  DH even likes them, but they're still at the stage where one instant they feel like they've been novocained and the next like there's an electric charge through them.  So he only gets to look from more than an arm's distance.

I can't even imagine but I am so happy you are done and feeling ok.  Rest and try to get some food in so you can heal.  Can't wait to see the results.
