5 day pouch test?? Anyone want to share??

Hi Stacey ~ ok...we are in it together...

My scale was up this morning again and to be honest, I don't like the way I feel overall. The scale is just a number but I know what I feel and bleh...not liking it at all. So, I am going to do the 5 DPT and it starts this morning. 

I hope your day is carb free...let's break this stall babee!!

Diana - it takes about 3 days to get "decarbed".  Its not easy, but I think that's the way you need to go.  If you find it didn't work, then maybe think about the 5 DPT. 

Just cut out the carbs (all, not just simple) and stick to protein and veggies.  I feel so much better when I do that myself.

I should do the 5 DPT after the first of the year... definitely wouldn't hurt me.  I'm up 4 lbs this morning - YUK! (yes, its been creeping again)

My scale and your scale must be pairing up and messing with us! I'm done with it I tell ya...lol

I agree with the decarbing but you know what...I get 2/3's of my protein from shakes...2-3 shakes a day so...I am going to just do the 5 DPT. I am going to be busy busy with shopping and cleaning and decorating that I think I can manage the next 2 days of full liquids. Hell, I did it 2 weeks preop which was the hardest ever...the first 2 days was rough but the third day was hell preop. 

I read over the 5 DPT plan and I know I can do it. Day 3 is soft foods...no worries there...

If you decide to do the plan too...I'm with ya...HUGS!!

im a pro on the 5 day pouch test lolol
even my dh knows what to get for me lol
i really like it it keeps me in check and i usually lose around 3-4- pds which helps me get a jump start
its not as hard as it sounds .
day 1 and 2 shakes, cream soups, jello, pudding
day 3 tuna, eggs, salmon
day 4 and 5 lean proteins , scallops, salmon
thats it !!!!! go on her website too shes very informative i weigh in on wednesdays so when i begin my 5dpt, i will usually begin on a fri
good luck in what u decide. as much as i have enjoyed the whole season i am looking foward to getting down and dirty once jan rolls around some of u r there already but some of us have to be ready for spring and summer wahooooooo !!!!!!

I read over the plan and I'm gonna do it. I need to get rid of this fluffy icky feeling. Scale movement will be a bonus but really....just want to realign my head and body again. 

I weigh in on Weds too but you know what...there is no time like the present. I've got a full day ahead of shopping, chores, and such so I am doing it today. Day 3 will be Weds and I'll be right back on plan by the weekend. I don't do anything special for dinner on Christmas and even if I serve dinner for family...(not snacks...lol) then I'll be able to push protein only...back on plan...

I do have plans for spring and summer...I am going to look damned sexy in a tankini!! I may even buy a bikini...never know!! This summer I turn 40!! eeeps...did I say that out loud?? Ya, I am gonna look sexy sexy by then! mwahahaha
