surgery tomorrow

I've been considering this and plotting away for this for the last year and a half and I can't believe that it's finally here and all the pieces are falling into place.  I am excited, but definitely anxious and questioning if I'm crazy for doing this, but I guess that's to be expected.  I"m going to rely on all of the research and thoughtful decision making that went into this over the last year and a half and not my last minute nerves!

We only have a 2-day preop liquid diet, so that hasn't been bad, but I definitely give a lot of credit to those of you that had to do it a lot longer.  I spent this weekend getting ready, picking up last minute supplies, and keeping myself distracted (it's normal to stay up until 2:30 am to putting together a photobook for an xmas present, right?!).

Anyway, just want  to thank you guys for all your support and insight!  And a special thanks to Rosa who has just been amazing!  (Rosa, the matzoh ball soup broth was sooo yummy.  So sad the other one spilled!)

Good luck and you'll do fine!  I think everyone second -guesses their decision at one time or another pre-op.... BUT - you'll be so glad you did it!

Haha!  There's no turning back now, you!  Not without the Wrath of Rosa, and you don't want to face that, do you?  Who else could have as much fun shorts shopping with me next summer???  Nope.  You're having the surgery, and that's that.  :)

Please tell Greg hi for me.  I wonder if he even remembers me...

(For those of you who aren't in on this, "Greg" is our surgeon, on whom I have had a slight crush.  I fancy myself as being on a first-name basis with him.)

Let me know if you want me to stop by and keep you company at all.  I was thinking about going over there to see Charles, anyway, so I'd be happy to.

You're in the home stretch!  Call me if you start up with a panic attack or something.  But everything's going to be great, you're going to love Isopure, and you will not lose hair.

Feel better now?

Hugs and love!

Thanks all for the support!  Getting ready for bed now - - we'll see how much I actually sleep.  I'll be in touch when I'm back at home.

And yes Rosa, that does make me feel better.  The isopure issue was all your fault : )  Would love you to come by, so will keep you posted.  Thanks again for everthing!!
