Get a copy of all your labs and build a spreadsheet to track the levels for yourownself. Cross reference your labs to the ones shown in the document linked above. You can also use Vitalady's target ranges to know what optimal is. Link: https://docs.google.com/Doc?docid=0AU46vLsRDC9rZGhranhtcXpfO GNxcDk2c2c0&hl=en

Gina, thanks so much- I just had my 1 yr labs and have been puzzling over the drop in thiamine. Of couser,Dr and NUT both keeping tabs but I did this whole thing to take charge of my own health, so was very timely. Thanks so much-Brenda

Brenda - I don't count on my Dr to watch my labs.  From what I've seen they just glance quickly over it - they don't do the comparisons.  I had to question my ALT/AST since it was high ever since surgery and didn't go down (nope - wasn't drinking then).  Only way I saw that was by tracking my labs myself.

I've tweaked my vitamins myself (with the help of Gina and others) based upon my lab results.

Yes, you are so right, that's why I was glad Gina posted so I can learn and take charge of my health.
May be calling on lots of help from all the LW's and the years of experience that you all have.Brenda
