Good Morning fellow LWs, hope everyone is doing well. Its time for our Fridays "Just for fun" post. Everyone is welcome to join in here. We enjoy reading everyones responses. Cindy

1.) How did you find the website Obesity Help? When I first thought about checking into WLS, I googled WLS and OH popped up. I joined and have been addicted ever since :)
2.) Do you bake for the holidays? I baked a ton of cookies befoe Thanksgiving. I made cookie trays for hubbys work & family members. I have baked much for Christmas. Hubbys cousin did ask for some sugar cookies that her son absolutely loves. So Im going to make him some on Sat. but other than that, my baking is over.
3.) Victories/Challenges this week? Victories - The scale moved again, Im 1 lb from Goal. I never thought Id make it this far. The feeling is incredible!!! Challenges - the cold weather makes it difficult for me to get motivated to go to the gym so Ive been doing weights at home and my Richard Simmons sweatin to the Oldies tapes. I dont feel like Im getting as good of a work out though.
4.) Plans for the weekend? We have hubby's Christmas party for work tonight. Just a casual thing but looking forward to it. We had a good time last year. Making cookies tomorrow. Sunday catching up on housework and probably grocery shopping.

I assume I found it through a google search, though I really can't remember! I joined the site a few weeks before my surgery and stuck on the RNY board until I got sick of its drama. I found the LW board a couple of months after surgery (in August).

I think I'm emerging from the funk I've suffered from this week. A major victory was that when my ex showed up uninvited at my door and I kicked him back to the curb, without even a hint of drama.
4.
I'm going to finish up my Christmas shopping, then lots and lots of church time.
And congrats on getting sooooo close to goal! What a great present for yourself.

I started out on the Thinner Times site. They kept talking about "that other board", so I finally asked what they were tlaking about. Came over and found the lightweights. So glad I did because I couldn't handle the RNY board or the main board. I did hang on the VSG board a bit thinking I could get that surgery.
2.) Do you bake for the holidays?
Ummm...no. Sometimes I wish I was more domestic, then I think of all the dishes.
3.) Victories/Challenges this week?
Just challenges....food everywhere, I eat it, then I feel kind of blah. Need to stop it.

Prepare for Christmas....get in some runs. Need to stay positive.

2.) Do you bake for the holidays? I don't bake at all...
3.) Victories/Challenges this week? Challenges - exercise. I'm doing terrible and its showing on the scale.
4.) Plans for the weekend? 3 parties and my family's Christmas.... I also need to get my wrapping done today. Glad I have today off!

Yes, and I bake it, wrap it and ship it out of the house.

I've been emotional this past week due to PMS'ing, the holidays and dating issues. I'm trying hard not to turn to food to comfort my raw emotions but its hard. I did go to my support group meeting on Monday night and that was a great help!
4.) Plans for the weekend?
Fri: Happy Hour with friends and colleagues. Daughter's bball game after
Sat: Cheerleading clinic that I coach
Sun: I am graduating from grad school on Sunday. I'm very excited!!
