Rosa's White Bikini Challenge
Oh! Are you unfamiliar with Borat?
Ah. Borat is a character invented by the actor Sacha Baron Cohen on his comedy show called "Da Ali G Show." It was a cult classic in Britain before coming to HBO a while ago. Borat goes around interviewing poor, unsuspecting people. Cohen loves to expose prejudices and hypocrisy, often to his own peril.
I was trying to find a good example that wasn't totally offensive (as many of his clips are) but this was the best I could come up with. I think he's hilarious.

I will join you in your "White Bikini Challenge"! I LOVE the thought of a white bikini...and I know it will make my slight tan "pop". I don't know yet when my challenge will be for...don't have any vacations planned. Right now I want to feel great and confident in the black & white striped bikini that I wore in my goal pics to go out in public (probably to the lake this summer) so major toning is in order. We'll see....
Rock on Rosa...you are awesome!
I will order this in a few weeks for inspiration!

You're right, Kimberly! I love the inspiration one! I think you already rock the ones you posed in, but if you want to do something else for yourself, then you go on ahead! The rest of us will just try to catch up with where you are now. ;)
And remember: when I tried on my swimsuits, I decided to pose for myself just like the swimsuit models do. In fact, there's a VS model who lives on my hall, and she tells me that to pose for these pics, you have to poke your butt out really far and arch your back, angle your shoulders, pull up your chin, etc. If we all had to walk around looking like that all day, sure, we'd look better in our bikinis, too! ;)

Well, thank you for your compliments but posing for a photo to show right next to a "before" photo is an entirely different thing than putting on a bikini and walking outside in front of God and everybody. Ya know?? When I was in my teens and early twenties I wore the tinyest of the tiny bikinis with no inhibitions whatsoever and I remember how wonderful it felt to have that freedom and feel the sun on my whole body so for me I know that unless I get to the point where I feel completely comfortable (Like, "Heck yeah I look GOOD for a forty-something mom of 3!"), and by that I don't mean that I have to be 'perfect" because at this stage in life that is not even attainable, I won't wear a bikini in public. Wearing a bikini is inviting the world to really look at your body and see everything and so I guess for me I just don't want anyone to be saying to themselves, "What was she thinking???". lol
