 saw the doctor today....8 months out...63 pounds down...from 210 to 147...size 10....5' 8"...
he asks me if this is a weight I could see maintaining or if I want to lose more.... my BMI is 22.4...
which is bang in the middle of normal...I feel skinny and good....he says I could lose 10 more pounds and still be fine...but I think I'd look like a skeleton....I PROMISE to post photos this weekend...before and after...my husband will help me...as well as an avatar photo...It's a bit overwhelming...switching from losing to maintaining...it's actually more of the same thing...same diet except a bit more food...
I am going to have to take some time and adjust and work on my thinking about this...in the meantime I will keep doing what I'm doing...and yes ...I am thrilled...a bit disbelieving but thrilled...
it happened so fast...anyhow that's me today.....I wake up every morning with a smile as I get up and see my new self in the mirror....YAHOOO.....SEAVIEW

Just keep doing what you're doing and let your body decide.  It will stop when its done.

I just made it to the top of the normal range.  I'm going to keep doing what I've been doing and hopefully go lower so I will have some bounce back room if needed.
I think as long as you don't go below the low number of your BMI you will be ok.

Can't wait to see pictures!!  Congratulations on your success.

GREAT JOB!!!!!  BMI of 22.4!  That is really really awesome!  I can not give good advice as I am still so new and far to go, but I think I would agree, let your body decide.

Can't wait for the pics either!  What a great holiday "gift"!!

Congratulations!!! I would keep doing th same thing and see where your body wants to be. My goal was 115, my surgeon doesn't set goals for his patients, but my nut wanted me to be around 122. I have gone much lower than that, but have been maintaining for about a month.
