I almost never got hic cups before my surgery......now I seem to get them several times a day.....is this normal?  do they ever go away?

Sometimes I get them when I am full.  Are they in relation to eating?  I actually have a wide variety of odd tummy stuff from burps, hiccups, pressure that all say I am full.

Yup - what Price said.

I primarily burp when I've either eaten too fast or too much... I don't get hiccups, but some people do.

And - my nose runs (on the right side) when I've eaten too much...

I had them a lot right after surgery. I have one hiccup when I am full. I also have lots of weird stomach things like I can't really burp, most of the time it just feels stuck or a teeny one will come out eventually. Also, (TMI) but I will feel like I need to pass gas, but it almost feels stuck. I have to really force it out to relieve pressure.

Your not too far out from surgery, it could still be the gas they had in you coming out in the form of hiccups..Just a thought.

My nose runs when I am full..doc said to just stop, or if you get the hiccups during eating.

I am 2 years out and still get the hiccups.  At the beginning it happened  if I even took 1 bite to much, but now it takes a few extra bites to start them.  It used to bother me but now I think yes...My Tool Is Still Working!!!!   Some burp, some get a runny nose, and some of us get the hiccups.

If it doesn't seem to happen after eating or if they last a long time (I usually only hiccup about 3 times) then you might want to talk to your surgeon.
