Good Morning. How many layers does a LW need...

Lee, I will say even on the coast we are freezing. The wind chill was 17 this morning. Not sure what it is North and west of me but DARNED we are freezing, expecting more snow tomorrow and Sunday. Keep an eye on flights and be careful.

Gina - I've found if I sit enough my butt doesn't get cold - lol - BUT, I picked my car up last night after getting a remote starter put in it (Merry Christmas to me!) and the leather seat was SOOO  cold!!  It felt like I was sitting on an ice cube (and I head jeans on ) and the seat didn't warm up until I was almost home :(  But I guess I've still got enough padding on my butt because it typically doesn't get too cold. 

I don't see why you shouldn't have all 3 in different colors - you should see my coat closet... I have 4 pea coats, blue, black, gray and winter white....

Linda - I LOVE cuddle-duds!  I think mine are all Large though...

Today is jeans and a lighter-weight sweater.  But, I have a heater under my desk so if I get cold I just crank it up.  I also wore my heavy leather/fur coat - my Columbia got dirty.  Went to eat last night and kids must have been at the table before us because I ended up with ketchup on it...

I've started wearing jeans to work because my dress pants I just get too cold in.  Pretty much everyone wears jeans here anyway, so why not?



 

So far...only 1 layer in San Antonio.  The high should be 80 today!  I have to keep 3 layers on blankets on the bed at night though.

Suppose to be a high of 76 here in Dallas today ... but I have an underdesk heater at work cuz they are still running the a/c.

I'm in Texas too.....still pretty warm during the day.  Chilly at night.  I'm very cold nautured since RNY so I'm always cold and have a light hoodie or longsleeve shirt on in the house.  DH like the house COLD!!!! lol

I've had to start layering, bought a bunch of camisoles and flannel pants for at home.  Finally able to wear sweaters I had bought but was always to hot to wear.  My DH is very happy that I'm now complaining of being cold instead of sweating all the time.  I like my cords, they keep me pretty warm.  Don't have to layer too much in the "banana belt" of Idaho.

here in ny its about 28 but wind chill factor is bad im in peri menapause babeeeeeeeeeeeeeee so im hotter than hot lololol im never cold

I can't wait to have to think about this! Right now I have crazy temperature issues where I'm hot while everyone else is cold. It's 35 out right now, I'm wearing a 3/4 length sleeved sweater and a skirt that goes to my knees. No pants, no stockings, no nothing, and I have a fan on at my desk!
