Come on, man!

 I have another "come on, man" that has already been said, but it really irks me as well.

"Come on man"..... I can't have ANY protein shakes??  And I can have only 3 meals per day with no snacks??  And I should stick to only 600 calories per day??  And even with those restrictions, it should be easy to get all my protein in each day??  "Come on, man!"  How is that possible?  You tell me what I can eat that will get all my protein in by eating only 500 - 700 calories per day..... I can tell you a food that will accomplish that:   3 protein shakes!  

So I ask you LW's ..... Is it possible to get all your protein in with food alone when you are still in the 500 - 700 calorie per day phase?  

Fun to vent!  Now ... back to cleaning the house.

I hear you all, my sisters!!

My first "come on, man!" is to the numb-nuts at my WLS support group who persistently scares the newbies by shouting that they can NEVER NEVER NEVER eat any grains again for the rest of their lives because it will ruin their pouch.

My second "come on, man!" is for DH, whom I love dearly, but who still doesn't get that a half cup of beef stroganoff over 1 oz of whole grain noodles IS a full meal for me, and if I eat any more, I will get sick!

My next "come on, man!" is for the people who have had this surgery and know how it works who still try to give me large pieces of candy/cake/pies at parties. No thank you! I'll take a bite *maybe* or maybe I won't have any. But I cannot and will not take a whole piece!

My final "come on, man!" is for the people telling me that, at 55, I should just suck it up and live with the excess skin, infections, and torn/pulled muscles from excess skin. Uh, no, I'm having PS to get rid of it.

Ooops - that was my almost final. My real final (for this post anyway) "come on man!" is for my sister-in-law, who wants me to reschedule my PS so that it's after the holidays because she's afraid that I won't be able to make dessert for the family for Christmas Eve. Uh, that would be a resounding NO.

Yeah, I'm crabby today with idiots. LOL!

Oooo, I heart this post,....

To non-ops..."Is that all you are going to eat?"...Um, yah I gave up shoveling food in my mouth because it was killing me...."come on man"

"You are way too skinny...you need to stop losing weight"........Come on man...just because I look and feel healthy does not mean I need to stop losing weight. I gave up "compromising" my health along with shoveling buckets of food...

"What size are you now??...6's?? B*tch...."   Okeeeee.....I like this one...never been call the big B for being skinny...I'm keeping this one...

To all those tha****ch me closely to what I eat and drink and if I exercise to see if I fail at this journey,....Come on man....I'm human but not an idiot. Why waste all this hard work and now sexy body for some greasy fattening and/or sugary foods...

Come on man....

My scale hasn't moved in a month. I know I haven't been good about getting in my water and protein, I'm slacking off a bit on my exercise, and I've been eating more junk food and carbs, but I think my body must be in starvation mode so I'm going to eat even more food and see if that will get me to lose weight again. Come on, man!
