Good Morning. All I want for Christmas ...

...is to figure out what I want for Christmas and for DH to figure out what he wants for Christmas too. Yeah, married 30 years and we don't know what to get each other...we just don't need anything really. I'm thinking I might make a donation to a charity and put the receipt in a gift box for him. He'll think I'm absolutely crazy and probably wouldn't appreciate it...Any ideas?

Y'all have a great Monday and be careful out there.

Tickets to a sporting event?     Electronic gadgets?   a GC for a massage?    If all else fails, go for a lap dance or chia pet     Cindy

We will have been married for 38 yrs on the 27th.  I buy my Christmas presents and he buys his.  I like horse stuff which he knows nothing about, he likes golf stuff which I know nothing about.  Occasionally we get something for the other as a surprise but probably not this year with close to $2000 in vet bills for the dogs.  We are giving each other a new wing at the vet office.

we do a joint gift every year that counts for all holidays in the year.  this year we got a new pool table :)

We sometimes then decide on a $20 limit and do something meaningful (ornaments that are relative to what is going on in our lives just for something to open) but our children are 4 and 7 so we have plenty of presents under the tree and we watch them open, so xmas morning is still a blast even if each of us open nothing ourselves.

I like the kindle idea if he is a reader, or a special DVD box set of a series that is a favorite?  GC for a round of golf if he is into that?  IPOD if he is into music? Does he go out with his friends (guys night out)?  A GC for a place they like to go?  Movie passes?

For YOU, well I would ask for a spa GC or a night away at a spa alone :)  Or you could forego presents for both of you and plan a night away somewhere with dinner and a show or something?

I love this time of year so this is fun for me :)

DH usually gets me things I don't want.  I usually get him clothes.  I told him Clothes would be great this year, but I'll have to pick them out.

Now we are thinking of getting a Keurig Coffee Maker as a joint gift to us both.  It is hard to think of something for each other because when we want something we just get it during the year!!

How about some golf balls since DH loves golf??  I used to get my BIL that every year I drew his name back when he played all the time.

If he likes to read, an ereader is pretty cool.  Just bought one since I don't always want to have a laptop with me and it is bigger than a smart phone so easier to read.  Merry Christmas.

Heck - I don't know - I'm going through the same thing.  Kids ask me what I want - and its all big ticket items because I buy the rest of the stuff I want throughout the year, and they can't afford thm.

I'm going through this with boyfriend right now.  NO idea what to get him, because, well, he's the same way!  He has been "consulting" with my daughter... she said it will be a "fun" present... no pressure there - I don't have ANY idea... he wants a new tuner for his stereo but I know nothing about them.  Maybe a gift card to Best Buy is in order...

I love gifts for massages or will be asking for gift certificates for yoga. Tickets for entertainment, movies, sports or music.

I love sponsoring a child and getting monthly letters. I dont know if he would appreciate something like that. Or sponsor a family for christmas.

My parents have everything, I think they are going to become a member of the month club, maybe for fruit, wine, jelly or something! I think I need to get on that asap!

Good luck! Hope you come up with a winner!!
