It was just my 8 week post surgery plateau- that lasted 3 weeks!!!
After being so worried about not losing weight for 3 weeks I started to fall into old habbits: munching, eating in front of the tv, drinking wine with my meals (more than I should have too). I hadn't weighd myself in a couple of weeks because I was afraid to see what it said, but I faced my fears and checked just to make sure I hadn't gained too much. I LOST 6 POUNDS! That was just the motivation I needed to get back on track! It's crazy how it is a snowball effect: if the scale says something bad I quit trying, if it suprises me with something good I try extra hard! Hopefully I will stay focused now!
Congrats! I know your glad the stall is broke!
I started drinking with my meals again......but I'm over 3+ years post-op. I saw the scale go up to 133 lbs about 2 weeks ago. However after cutting out the drinking with my meals I was back down to 129 as of Sat. and I was still there this morning. We all do backslide but we have to know when to suck it back up and get back on track ;o)
Even this far out I have to remember to stick to basics and work my tool!
Ash ;o)
