Hi everyone,

I had my surgery on Dec. 6th and am doing pretty well.  I came home from the hospital on Wednesday.  I couldn't wait to get out of there - no one lets you sleep.

I am still pretty sore and tired, but I've been doing pretty well with protien and fluids.  I almost worry the eating part is too easy right now.

I am still trying to find an unflavored protein powder I like that I can add to soup.  I'm getting a bit tired of sweet protein shakes.

Good to see you posting, Mary. I'm glad things are going well. Keep trying for that special protein powder. I think Vitalady carries several in unflavored. You might want to see if you can order some samples.

Welcome home.  I felt better each day once I got home.  Nectar unflavored has less flavor than Unjury to me.  I used it some in the beginning but now I can tolerate anything I have tried.  That first week or so, my taste buds were really offended by everything bu****er.

Thanks everyone.  I ordered lots of samples from Vita-lady, but for some reason I didn't get any unflavored.  I will have to order some more.

I am looking forward to a few weeks from now.

Congrats on doing so well!

I too felt very little in my pouch in the beginning. Get in the habit of measuring.

Unjury makes a good plain powder to add to soup.
