Have you had cravings?

Up to this point, eating has been routine. Protein, protein and protein! I have had some veggies and love them! But cant eat too many after my Protein!

Had a few grapes here and there.

But wow, today at the grocery store, I just wanted to buy all the fruit I was seeing! My mouth was actually watering as I looked upon the grapefruit and the pineapples!

Just seems weird after 4 months to have cravings again. Did buy a grapefruit, so we will see what happens. Maybe some cottage cheese and grapefruit sections for a snack! Maybe it is just craving the freshness of something alive, I did get some romaine and celery. Craving something juicy!

The only thing I have craved yet that I couldn't satisfy is bread.  Not sandwich bread, I could care if I never saw that again and have always been that way.  But bakery bread, crisp outside, soft inside, sourdough  and the like.  Or biscuits or cornbread.  I can have wheat thins but they don't do anything for me.  So I will wait.  I think bread is added in at 6 months.

There are wonderful apples grown here and apple slices with pb2 has been great on occasion.

I am with you, I have been craving fruit also. In fact to the point where it has me scrounging in the cupboards. I have given in though with some clemintines and apple slices but that grape fruit really sounds yummy!

I know, it was just so weird to feel my mouth watering! I guess it must have been the first time since surgery!
I cut the skin off the grapefruit and then slice the sections out, so I didnt get any of the membrane, and it was sooo goood! Had about 5 sections with alittle cottage cheese, and yum!
I was holding my breath, but the ole pouch agreed! yeah!

Oh, honey, at this point, I feel deprived if I don't get a good apple or some grapes every day!  When I was traveling a few weeks ago, my fresh fruit was jeapordized, and, in fact, I missed out one day.  It drove me nuts, and I was sure to rectify it by the next day.

As cravings go, I think this is a great one.  Especially if you pick a fruit that will be helpful (like with fiber, for example.)

I actually eat quite a bit of fruit!   I usually bring a protein and fruit for lunch everyday.  My current passion are Honeycrisp apples....I cut up a huge one into slices and put it in a ziploc and eat on it throughout the day!  I also love the Clementines that are out right now.

I do love bananas but they don't sit well with me for some reason :(

I have gotten lucky with bananas, I can eat them with no problem, but apples have to be warmed up :(
The clemintines right now are amazing too, I just love the fact that they are so small and I dont waste any of it.
