5 1/2 weeks post op and have lost 30 lbs

    Had to share with you all!!!!!!!!!!!    I only 5 1/2 weeks out and I'm down 30 pounds already.  I am 160 now.  I have not been 160 in many years and it is almost impossible to believe that I am already there.  

-I was able to wear jeans today that I have not used in over 3 years (and they were way too tight when I did wear them).  Now they are loose!!!!!!!
-My wedding ring is now loose after not wearing it for months because it wouldn't fit
-I'm sleeping better

The only bad thing is that I think 20 of the 30 pound came off my butt because it is now gooonnneee.  I loved my bigger butt, it sort of balanced out my big boobs.    Now the boobs are still there and the butt is gone.     

I  lost my camera charger so I have not taken any pictures but I will take pictures this weekend using my sisters camera so I can share.

I love my sleeve!  Its been a lot easier than I ever thought.

Congratulations on your success so far!!! The NSVs like the jeans and the wedding ring were the best part to me. Don't go get your ring sized until you balance out. Just get those rubber sleeves to put on it. I got mine sized when I got to goal, and now it is huge again. I'm waiting a year to see what happens before I do it again.

Trust me, the boobs will go eventually lol. It takes a long time to balance out all over. Everyone loses in different places, but eventually it goes all over.

You are right. Im going to look for the rubber sleeves for my ring this weekend.  I'm looking forward to balancing out. My DH will not be thrilled but I have been wishing for it for years.   Thanks

Congratulations on your success so far!!  Sounds like you are doing great.

I lost weight in areas that I had never lost before also.  It was really strange the way it came off.
Can't wait to see pictures.
