Good Morning. It is a good morning

I have an angelette in California right now who has just successfully come through her 3d WLS revision. She was determined but not getting all the support she could have had from her DH. I can understand his fear for her. Anyway, she made it through surgery and was in recovery last night when I talked to her hubby. I hope this one fixes her issues and she can settle in and be successful long term. Revision folks can have rough time. In some cases their intestines have already adjusted to the bypass and when they get a DS the malabsorption doesn't work in harmony with the restriction as much as it should. Sometimes the pouch-to-sleeve doesn't heal correctly or the scar tissue left by the band is too hard to remove or has caused the stomach to become misshapen. I keep hoping and praying that she will be fine now and not have any more issues and will take the weight off and keep it off this time. Maybe you all could swing some lizards for her. It ain't over yet. Still have to see how she heals and how her body works with a sleeve and more intestines bypassed.

Y'all have a great Thursday!

Sending the lizards her way, she sounds as if she really needs it. I hope all will be better this time around.

Oh man, I'm swinging and crossing fingers and toes.  One of the reasons I chose rny was I kept reading about revisions and didn't want any part of that.  I guess if this hadn't worked I would have given up.
So here is hoping she has a easy recovery and smooth sailing from there.

I'm swingin lizards for her Gina.  Hope this recovery will be her easiest to date and I hope this surgery works for her.  I can't imagine how frustrating it must be to have all the hopes of living a better life to have it not work out for you.

Please keep us updated on her progress.

Gina, I'm swinging for her.  Is she up here in my area of Northern CA?  Is she a Kaiser patient like me?

I don't have time to read the board this morning.  I just wanted to say that I'm going to be scarce until Monday as I have a friend coming in today, leaving Monday.  I need to leave right now for work so that I can take off a few hours early this afternoon.

Have a great weekend everyone!   I'll sneak in and read when I can, but I'm hoping I don't have that much time.  There's so many great places to play tourist in the SF area.  :)
