Given an Ultimatum LOL

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE! 
I feel amazing today and so glad my sinuses have eased up! WOO HOO!!!

I am ready to tackle the day and do everything I planned on doing yesterday.

Ok the ultimatum, yes it came from my oldest sister.
When I told the family about my WLS, I was kinda on the outs with my other sister.... ( yes I cussed her out but she benefitted from it and straightened up)

So she does not know about it, I have been ordered by my other sister to go out and buy an amazing outfit, style my hair and actually wear makeup when we get together for Christmaas this year.

I was told I am to be knock out gorgeous, hehe. I dont know what I can do but I guess I have to go shopping now LOL.
I will actually get to see what size I am actually wearing. This will be interesting.
Will post pics when I find a good outfit.

What an excellent ultimatum for you, Stacey!

I'd recommend thrift shopping for this so that you can enjoy the experience SO MUCH that you actually do it again!  (Like, regularly!)  If you have to go too expensive, you might give yourself an excuse not to bother again.

By now we all know I am fashion challenged LOL... I will be asking advice but also have my 17 yr old daughter to go with me. She is very much into fashion....
Was thinking of shopping at Platos Closet, can get jeans ( in style) for about 12 bucks.

Oh boy, this is FUN!

You may not be sure of what looks good at this point.  I think it can be tough when the weight is coming off and we haven't seen ourselves like this for a very long time.

Maybe take a camera into the dressing room with you.  If you have several things you like, take pictures, come back and post them and get the expert advice that is to be found here.

I'm not good at knowing, so I take a friend who works in "clothes" to help me pick things when it's something more than just jeans etc.

What a fun ultimatum!!!!! Have fun chosing a wonderful new outfit. I am also fashion challenged and one of co-workers keeps telling me that my slacks are too big. So, I also need to do some shopping. Like you, I'm not really sure what size I am, since the sizing seems to be all over the place.

That's awesome...I can't wait to see what you find.  I LOVE Plato's Closet!  Between there and TJ Maxx or Kohl's I bet you can come up with something fabulous for not too much.  Make sure you don't skip out on a accessories...they are essential to finishing off an outfit.  If you have a Charming Charlie near by they have awesome stuff...cheap!   Most of all, HAVE FUN and celebrate YOU and all you have accomplished!
