What's your vitamin routine?
What vitamins and other supplements do you take and in what dosage?
What is your schedule for spacing them out? Please be specific for newbies ;)
What is the hoped for benefit of the less typical ones?
Which ones have brought about a marked improvement in a condition?
How long did it take for the benefit to take effect?
Thank you!
Morning
1 bariatric advantage chewable multi (orange flavor)
1 15mg iron supplement
Every two or three days, I take a sublingual 500 mcg B12 (buy from Walmart)
Every two or three days, I take 10,000 units of sublingual D3 (order from VitaLady)
Mid Day
500 mg bariatric advantage chewable calcium (cinnamon flavor)
--I will take three each day, spaced out every 3 hours or so
Evening
1 bariatric advantage chewable multi (orange flavor)
So far, my numbers have been fine. Until otherwise, I am sticking to this plan.
Centrum Chewable Multi 1x daily
B12 sublingual 1x daily
B complex 1x daily
B6 1x daily
Cinnamon Bark 2x daily
Prilosec 2x daily
Carafate 1x daily
Off and on garlic, lobelia, ginger root 1x daily each
The last 3 are supposed to improve lung function (for running), I didn't really notice much, so I don't always take them. The cinnamon is supposed to be a cancer preventative, and help aid with burning belly fat. I don't know if it helps, but Dr. Oz always talks about cinnamon.

Morning vitamins:
Chewable Centrum Silver (supposed to be 2 a day, but I take one), Dry D3 - 50K every other day and 5K the other day, K1 and another K - can't remember which one now - just started them, sublingual B12 1200mcg every day, Dropper of liquid B Complex (taking this with my sublingual B12 has those numbers sky-high!), 2 droppers of Milk Thistle, Vit A 2 10K sublinguals a day, 2 folic acids, 1 colace, 1 prevacid, and my toviaz meds. Also take 1500mg of calcium citrate spaced out throughout the day.
Evening Vits: Just my iron - Proferrin - 2 tablets cut in half to help absorption. I should be taking some C with them too - I keep forgetting that.
What is your schedule for spacing them out? Please be specific for newbies ;) I take my morning ones all at the same time, space the Calcium Citrate out at least every 2 hours, and the iron at night away from all else because it doesn't play well with the other vits and calcium.
What is the hoped for benefit of the less typical ones? My labs were low for the K this time, thus the new supplementation, the folic acid for skin (which seems to be helping), 2 sublingual Vit A's instead of 1 because even with the 10K a day, it was still on the low end. The Milk Thistle was because my ALT/AST levels have been high and it has definitely made a difference. Toviaz to keep me from peeing my pants, and Prevacid to prevent ulcers. Unfortunately the labs don't seem to want to give me the results for the Dry D3 - which are paid for.... I need to hound them.
Which ones have brought about a marked improvement in a condition? Milk Thistle, B12 (I'm off the range of the labs), While others may not have given me a "marked" improvement, they have helped raise or maintain optimum levels versus not taking them at all.
How long did it take for the benefit to take effect? That's kinda hard to say - I haven't noticed a "physical" difference, but must wait for my labs to see if it worked.

Did you say you order your vits thru Vita-lady? What is the Dry D3 for again? I know you recently mentioned it, but I forgot. And the Milk thistle?
Thanks again!
