Hi Gina...

I have fallen off the wagon and my scale has been creeping up again.  I HAVE to get back on track and get these 3 lbs off - NOW!!!  Zumba tonight..

Glad to hear you had a good time!  We've been getting snow and they're predicting even more.  BF is in Iowa deer hunting and I heard a news report this morning he's got a foot of snow where his house is located...  We got about 5-6" so far, with another 4-8" on its way.

At least I rent and the landlord clears my drive!  I have to fight with DS to clean the rest of the drive where his Jeep is sitting and the sidewalk - betcha its not done when I get home.

So I was reading about y'all's snow, and I was like, "haha!  they've got snow in those cold places!  not me!" (not quite so meanly, but still, that was the basic sentiment).

Then I actually looked out the window...

I am not a fan of snow!  Sure, I like a white Christmas (on Christmas Day once I don't have to go anywhere), but that's a few weeks away.  My only consolation is that I get to wear my adorable snow boots.  Oh, and that I never have to worry about clearing snow, not here in the middle of the commercial districts where I live and work.  Migrant workers stand outside ALL DAY AND NIGHT in the snow and keep the sidewalks completely clear.  I just feel badly for them since I know they don't come from cold climates.

There was a time when I liked snow.  In fact, for most of my life I did.  That was until I moved to Boston...

Have a great (snowy?) day, LWs!

Son#2 is near Erie. He told us they have 2 feet of snow and are looking for more. Brings back memories of last year when we got 3 feet here in DC. No thank you very much--not wanting it this year.

Son#2 says he's done nothing but dig his car out. A couple times a day, I think.

Zumba and negative adult beverages, babeee!

Is that like in NO adult beverages or finding a way to make them negative calories - LOL

I didn't go to zumba - it was just too cold... I know, excuses excuses, and yes, an adult beverage was on the radar tonight.  Made some SF no bake cookies tonight..

lol  I suppose you could swish a mouth full of beer around and spit it out. That would be like negative adult beverage.

Hi Gina,
Glad y'all had a good time yesterday.  Hope you are feeling better and that your DH has a Happy Birthday today!!

I had to travel to Rome today for my surgeon's appointment tomorrow.  My pouch feels fine now, but thought I would let him check it out anyway.

I haven't gotten DH anything for his birthday...I keep asking and he keeps saying, sorry he doesn't think he needs anything...[sigh] I have his card and the kids and grand baby and I will take him out to eat but that's all I got so far. It's a shame you can't send a guy flowers and they think that's great.

Keep us posted on that pouchy peep show.

G.I.Jane, i ONLY buy her grain free dry food, but I think it is with chicken. I also bought a Purina One with lamb in it because I had a coupon, and she sticks her little nose in the air. her vet owns both of her parents and just doesn't think she has food allergies. I am stumped. And, yes I actually work in Lowville. It is 10 miles from my home. Watertown is about 30 miles away.
