Good idea!  I don't think it will look good with jeans since its just above the knee and dressy - BUT, we may be able to figure something else out!

A cardigan over top may work - I have a nice black one with frills down the front.  But - shoes will be another story.  I do have knee high black boots - but for some reason feel those may be a little "over the top" for this crowd....

Now - that's not the ONLY black dress I have.  I have a very basic one that I think can be dressed up/down...  I'll be posting about it later in the week and trying to get pics of each of them.

Let's see... in the last week I've added a few things to my closet.  Three pairs of new size 10 pants.  Two cords and 1 jeans.  I wore the black cords to an OH holiday party yesterday.  I also add 1 black crewneck cashmere sweater, on sale at Macy's for $39.99 and 1 V-neck Red cashmere, on sale at Kohl's for $38.  Sweaters were what i was lacking since the 2 and 3x's from last year don't fit anymore.

I'm thrilled to fit into the Croft and Barrows size 10 shorts.  I sure don't want to stop here but never thought I'd see a 10 in my life!  I wasn't even a 10 in junior high school.

and PS, I don't even care if they run huge!

I saw loverofcats yesterday and her gorgeous self looks more like a 4  than anything else.

Aw, Lee, you are too kind. I thought that you looked great in your black cords and your sweater, slightly over your shoulder. You actually looked smaller than you did last month at the luncheon. You may be losing inches, if the scale isn't moving. I'm jealous of your cashmere sweater. Maybe, I'll have that as my reward, when I reach goal.

Go to Kohl's today!  I got a red V-neck for $35 marked down from $100.  I even went back today and bought another for a gift to take back east.  They had red and blue and also V-neck argyle and cardigan styles.  All for $35.

Pick up a size S.  That's what Bonnie got yesterday and it fits her perfectly.  If you can't wear it today, it will fit tomorrow.

I just splurged on a pair of Hudson jeans (not even gonna say what they cost lol)...waiting for them to arrive.  I also went to Platos Closet last night and found 4 really cute little jackets, a teal blue velveteen cropped jacket $12, a black velvet military-ish jacket $8, a stone colored denim jacket $8 and muted green, purple and cream colored plad cropped peacoat-style jacket $14.  I am about to run to Target to see what I can find to wear under them.  I really want to find a black sequined tank to wear with the teal velveteen one...I think that will look fab wih my new jeans.  I will have to post pics later in the week.

I did a little black Friday shopping and picked up a few things for myself.  I bought my x-mas outfit which I will be wearing to the tree lighting ceremony Thursday at the hospital.  I'll be singing in the choir and want to be super cute!  I bought a red and creme tiny horizontal striped cowl neck long sleeved sweater dress that comes just above the knee.......very form fitting........red tights.....and winter white knee high boots with a 4 inch heal.  I'll be wearing a red belt as well and am still thinking about jewelry.....probably going to go with drop pearl earrings and maybe a long pearl necklace.......not sure if it necessary with the cowl neck.

2 years ago I sent my sister 3 boxes of  clothes I couldn't wear.  She asked for them, but at 5"2' to my 5"8' she couldn't wear any of them.

This week I received some boxes from my Dad with my old clothes in them.  I guess they aren't technically new, but they feel new to me.  They are my size 14/16s.  I'm not quite in them yet either.

Some of them are out dated, but most are office clothes that will be perfect for work.  I was dreading have to start shopping for those "passing through" sizes.  I may not have to.

Oh KAY!  How wonderful to get your old clothes back!  You're right, it will be great to wear them as you pass through the sizes.
