Weekly Fashion Post - whats new in YOUR closet?

i alaways have something new in my closet lolol im a clothes horse working for retail all these years i have hundreds of shoes , in the 50's of boots thigh hi, knee length, calf length and shoe boots im obsessed lolol. right now im trying to get my self together with a awesome outfit for this sat coming my dh and i along with 3 other couples are going to a very nice resteraunt for our annual xmas dinner
im wearing black dress pants size 11 juniors from rainbows and i ordered this top from Venus.com criss crosses in the front sleevless berry color with gold metalic scrolls in front im wearing gold accessories earrings, bracelets, black heels i bought bumpits for my hair my daughter Rosanne is going to give me a half up half down do. i like the teased look at the crown its sooooooo sexy looking thats where the bumpit will come in lol i have berry color lipstick lil gold eyeshadow not sure if i should just get same color for my nails or get a french manny
promiseeeeee ill take pics we exchange with eachother i bought candles with a shade im baking 3 tins of xmas cookies this week and something which i never did was i bought the 3 men xmas boxers. the woman get the presents all the time so i figured id do soemthing different and get the men something cant wait to see the look on their faces lolol
only thing im stressing about is a coat i wish i had a long faux fur. the people we r going with own real ones as they r rich. being a peta member i try not to look . but anyway , i do have an older coat thats nice but its big now and have no choice to wear it .

I have this GORGEOUS leather coat with mink trim in a size XL - I just can't get myself to get rid of it.   It originally cost $3000.... retail of course, and of course I didn't pay that for it - but it was still over $500....  its still in my closet. 

My BF is a hunter/fisher/trapper and asked if I wanted a mink coat - I told him no, I wouldn't have anywhere to wear one, but I'd LOVE a mink scarf - I think I may just get one for Christmas!  He' got a boxful of mink skins in his bedroom and is going to make a comforter out of them.  Sorry, maybe you didn't want to hear that....

I too would have a problem finding a dressy, little longer coat.  Dressiest ones I have are shorter leather or Pea coats... oh well.. not like I go dressy places often.

Well, my size 6 jeans came yesterday, and they fit just tight at the waistband. I ordered them from QVC,so I am going to keep at least til January and see how comfy they are by then, as they have returns through 31st of Jan. Went Christmas shopping but did not buy anything for myself thought I would wait until after Christmas and hit the sales. I have a Christmas party this Friday night and am wearing a black silk skirt and deep burgundy sateen fitted shirt. Hard to describe but I will get a picture and post. Have a great week! Brenda

I love burgundy and black together - its SO rich looking!  Definitely looking for pictures.

I'm going to a couple of Christmas parties this upcoming weekend and will need some help picking/choosing what to wear.  I'll definitely be posting another thread before then!

I don't ever remember being a size 6 in anything-but shoes (and that was a long....time ago)

I've been wearing mostly medium tops and the other day, I tried on some of my small tops that I have in my closet. They fit!!! I am about a size 8, depending upon the cut. I tried on a pair of size 6 grey cords at Kohl's last week and they fit. The sizing is all over the place. I can get buy with wearing larger tops, but the pants are less forgiving. One of the physicians that I work with told me a couple of weeks ago, "Those pants need to be retired." LOL. They were size 12 and the 10's are too big too. I hate to go buy anything too new. I will check out some of the thrift stores in the area.

Isn't it so fun?  Definitely check out the thrift stores - I love them and didn't really discover them until AFTER I lost my weight - which is ok, but that's probably why I have 2 closets FULL of clothes that ALL fit... LOL

I'm wondering how my small tops will fit after I get my BL/BA in January - I definitely know I'll need to retire a few...
 

It is FUN to fit into smaller clothes. After your BL/BA in January, you will just fill out your tops more fully and look sexier. LOL! Your BF will love it.

You could always casual up the dress with some jeans and boots....and a cardi......depending on the style of the dress.......you should post a pic.....maybe we can figure out a way to get you into that dress so you look super hot but not like you're trying to hard or hoity toity......lol
