Anyone taking Remeron for Depression?

Is anyone taking Remeron for depression?  Apparently it comes in a soluble tablet and since my cymbalta is not working anymore due to being a delayed release capsule my doc wants to try this.  The side effects are weight gain and sleepiness which scare the hell out of me. Any feedback would be appreciated. 

Remeron has a very high incidence of weight gain. Personally, I wouldn't take it, if I was in the process of losing weight. You could try it for a week or two, but if you started gaining weight or your weight loss stopped, I would discontinue the medication.  It is very helpful for people with decreased appetite and sleep difficulties.
