WHAT KIND OF SCALE DO YOU USE?

OK so here is a question that might be fun to answer.
What kind of scale do you use...?
My scale is a big heavy scale I got at sharper image...it has a dial on it and it reads pounds only..
If I stand on it in different places the weight can go up and down a pound...it my husband knocks into it it will need to be reset...it is at least 5 pounds different than my surgeons scale and it drives me crazy....I think I want one of those doctor scales with the big weights you shift on the bar...do you think that's more accurate or can those get messed up...or a digital one...but I don't trust those..
what do you use? It's making me nuts...I know MacMadame bought a really good one...does that one work for you Marie? Let us know what brand it is...SEAVIEW

Digital scale that weighs in 1/2 lb increments.  I think its pretty accurate.

I just use a $20 digital scale I got at Walmart. It always works consistent for me, but whenever my friend gets on it, she will get several different weights. I almost invested in something more expensive, then just didn't get around to making the purchase. As I've lost more weight, I am glad I didn't make the bigger purchase. It's getting to be less about weight and more about living.

I wish I were there...I am still obsessing about getting to goal...two pounds more...three pounds more...it's just a phase..then I will move on to maintenance...it's a process of lots of changes and
I have yet to learn to be someone who tries not to gain as opposed to someone who is always trying to lose...the scale is probably going to be part of this for me forever...maybe not as obsessively as now but always a component..and I want a scale I can trust and can make friends with...SEAVIEW

A cheap digital that weighs in tenths. It seems pretty acurate. Also use the Wii and they agree mostly. Mr drs, both surgeon and PCP use digital. Curves has one of those bar ones where you move the weights. It never matches anything.

The scales with the weights on them have to be calibrated every so often to be accurate. I have a Taylor brand that I got on sale for $20 that I love. It seems to match the doctor's scale, too. It measures by 2/10s of a lb. and has body fat, muscle and hydration measurements.

i have been using a "Tanita" it has 2 spots one for me and one for dh i set mine on my height it weighs me and it also give my bmi its as accurate as the wii fit scale. but truthfully id love to get my hands on a drs scale they r so expensive pennys carries them they r over 200.00 i think they r the most accurate in my opinion. i like the fact that u can keep it set on ur previous weight. and when u weigh in , if ur down u see the weight go down if ur up u see it up

see ya lighter,

Chepy digital I got from Walgreens and the Wii fit. The Wii seems to be right on target with the Dr office so I tend to believe it more.
