Has it hit you?? The SNACK ATTACK!!!!
I did zero carb for awhile last year, eating all protein. Any carbs that I had were in cheese etc. Thing was, I wasn't losing on that either. I really have not been able to find a formula (40-30-30, lower carb, zero carb, weigh****chers etc) that works for me. I guess having been a great dieter, if one had worked great, I would not have had to cut my stomach out for success. *sigh*
Now for those crunchy monsters, I have a stash of protein chips and pretzels in individual size bags from the Bariatric places. I eat about 1 a week when I'm really wanting that cracker crunch. I figure it's 14 carbs and 10 protein so it's not like a handfull of crackers where all I get is the crunch and carbs. They are very very satsifying.

I heard somewhere...not sure where now...that the pouch test is for those over a year post op because while a fresh post op, we are still learning our new pouch and the tool is still working at its peak...
I think around 18mos is where i saw it was good to use the pouch test.
I guess there's always several thoughts on the topic ~ but...right now...I won't be doing the pouch test until I have time off from work in 2 weeks...better safe from all the holiday buffets, etc. right? lol
