Rosa, I hope you are feeling better this morning.  Please go to the doctor(chiropractor) if it is still hurting.  Maybe he can give you some quick relief.

Thanks for your care, everyone!

I shall see my chiro tomorrow.  He'll be mad at me for:
1.) having WLS
and
2.) not having come in for regular appointments since my surgery
and
3.) taking the percocet.

He's generally against medical interventions.  This is why I've been avoiding him.  But he's really good, and I like him, and he's covered by insurance.  I can handle his opposition to some of my choices, so I'm not worried.

Today I still feel the pain, but it's dulled.  I'm wondering if the percocet is still working at this point?  Because it's like the pain's there, but I'm not noticing it as much.  Not until someone touches or hugs me or something.

I feel totally loopy and am going to leave work early now so that I can get some sleep.  I woke up several more times last night (that I didn't have a chance to come on here and share about), and spent much of the evening face-down on the bathroom floor.  (Note to self:  marble isn't the best choice unless it's heated.  Mine's not...)

I'm grateful for your concern and advice.  I'll update y'all soon, hopefully with good news!

First, I love your new Avie

Second, my chiro also isn't very happy with me.  It took me a while to go in after surgery since I couldn't lay on my tummy.  When I did go in, he didn't say much, wasn't his usual talkitive self.  I am going again tomorrow, we'll see how he is now.  He had wanted me to do some super blood testing and throught there must be something wrong with my thryoid.  Then of course wanted me to take care of it naturally.  Oh well.

Just be careful and take care of yourself. I hope you are feeling better today.
Do you still have your gallbladder? Pain can be referred to the shoulder area.
Prayers for healing.

PS. Love the new avie!

Thanks!

Had a coly in January 2005.  It took my doctors 6 mos to diagnose it - the urgent care (I was a student then, and wasn't authorized to go to EDs) docs thought I was just being dramatic and looking for attention.  Or that it was muscle pain.  Or kidney stones.  Etc. Etc.  I wept when they finally did the ultrasound and figured out that I had enormous gallstones...

And thanks for the prayers - you know how they say that you can tell when someone is praying for you?  I think that's soooo true.
