I am pretty tired tonight, did four loads of laundry. Didn't realize how much effort involved. Carried only a few items at a time.

I appreciate all the protein hints. I must say cottage cheese, yoghurt, eggs, seem heavenly in a few weeks.

They will taste good but not as "great" as you WANT them to be!  Don't worry though....food WILL taste and feel good again in the near future!!!  You are doing great!!

Be careful getting that wet laundry out of the washer, it is heavier than you think.  Wouldn't want you to pull anything.

Glad you are doing good.

Hi Wendy,  being exhausted is part of the healing process.  I actually think it's good because it keeps us from going haywire trying to get too much done.  Please take it easy.  We all heal at a different pace.  One of my good friends was exhausted for a month and now she's feeling really good.  Find your own pace and don't let anyone else tell you have quickly you should be mountain climbing.   When do you go back to work?

My post op appt is 12/09/10. I will ask then. My boss is totally flexible about how long I'll need off. I think I will want to get out soon. I saw the new number on your ticker, congrats!! I don't care how slow, I know this time you are free of the weight forever.
